Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Licensed Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for our facilities in a regional area. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate efficiently and safely for associates and customers in Antelope, CA.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, with robust problem-solving and communication skills to drive results.

Qualifications

• Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in the above areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working.
• Building controls or related area, Experience leading cross-functional teams., External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment., Supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Travel approximately 50% within the region.
• Directly supervise technicians and coordinate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Handle reporting and analytics tasks for facility operations.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses and permits with authorities.
• Participate in training to stay compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Schedule inspections and ensure codes are met.
