The role involves advanced maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems and acting as the technical resource for the facilities team.

The Lead will inspect, troubleshoot, and install systems, support preventive maintenance, and assist with campus projects while promoting safety and efficiency according to college standards.

Qualifications

  • High School or G.E.D. diploma.
  • Driver's license required.
  • 4+ years of building maintenance experience preferred. 4+ years of commercial or industrial experience preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrical, HVAC, or Plumbing license is highly recommended.
  • 1+ years of leadership recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe, reliable infrastructure and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Inspect, repair, troubleshoot, test, replace, and install electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems.
  • Lead maintenance team and participate in call-back program and after-hours tasks as needed.
  • Interpret paper and digital blueprints, drawings, schematics, and related documents; maintain inspection and maintenance records.
