Job summary

Shoreline Community College seeks a Maintenance Supervisor 3 to oversee maintenance, repair, and capital projects for campus buildings, grounds, and equipment, reporting to the Director of Facilities and Capital Projects.

The role directs plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, coordinates with contractors, and leads preventative maintenance and staff training. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journey status as a tradesworker in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, masonry, or sheet metal; lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Washington state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance work on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and control systems.
• Serve as on-call maintenance supervisor for emergencies.
• Support capital projects and review specifications, blueprints, and submittals.
• Coordinate campus shutdowns with project contractors and train maintenance staff.
• Develop and lead a preventative maintenance program for equipment.
• Update fixed assets and manage work orders.
