JLL in Walkersville, MD is seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic to support engineering operations under the Operations Manager/Chief Engineer. You will lead maintenance activities, manage work orders, and coordinate with purchasing while ensuring safety and reliability across facilities.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical/electrical skills, 4+ years supervisory building engineering experience, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4 years technical and supervisory building engineering experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide guidance and technical support to Engineering Services as SME in maintenance.
• Manage work orders and coordinate with supervisor on priorities, dates, and estimates.
• Plan and schedule engineering work and coordinate purchasing/inventory control.
• Conduct weekly on-site QA inspections and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain staffing schedules, timekeeping, and records for engineering teams.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly operations reports and recommend system improvements.
• Liaise with management on building criticality, work orders, and priorities.
