Job summary

The Fort Sill Family Morale, Welfare and Recreation custodial team seeks a skilled supervisor with carpentry and painting experience to plan and direct day-to-day operations across multiple facilities.

You will set deadlines, assign work, read blueprints, inspect quality, and arrange training while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

This federal position requires background checks, E-Verify, and compliance with AR 215-3; candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and drive as needed.

Qualifications

• Resumes or equivalent documentation with relevant experience in carpentry/painting.
• Experience in carpentry and painting trades recommended.
• Ability to read blueprints and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Plans the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project-by-project and on a week-to-week and month-to-month basis.
• Establishes deadlines ,priorities, work sequences and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods and policies set by superiors.
• Investigates works related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determine causes. Implement corrective actions to resolve work problems.
• Determines training needs and arranges for accomplishment of it; sets performance standards and makes formal appraisals of subordinates.
