Job summary

Barnes Aerospace seeks a Facilities Supervisor in East Granby, CT to manage daily facility operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and support production objectives. You will oversee building systems, vendor relationships, and PM programs, while maintaining compliance with codes and industry standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in aerospace or manufacturing facilities, strong communication, and project management skills, with potential for growth in a high-energy OEM environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing/facility/aerospace roles.
• Project management with contractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Vendor contracts management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of CNC equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, ADA and OSHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building systems (HVAC, power, CNC machinery, UPS, electrical, security, fire systems) for optimum performance.
• Manage facility projects and space changes, including machine layout and new equipment.
• Oversee vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring cost control.
• Maintain records, inspections, contracts, and permits.
• Lead maintenance personnel and ensure safety, quality and productivity.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the facility.
• Ensure reliability/availability of production equipment and PM programs.
