Job summary

Barnes Aerospace in East Granby, CT is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead machining operations and ensure on-time delivery of precision parts. You will manage a team, monitor performance, and maintain records while upholding TPM and safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in supervision in manufacturing, strong communication, and familiarity with ERP/MRP. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the position is on-site in East Granby with a day schedule of 8:00am–8:00pm, Fri-Sun shift.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in aerospace/manufacturing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to build positive employee relations and lead teams

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate workers engaged in machining and producing precision parts
• Manage performance, interview, and select prospective employees
• Maintain time and production records
• Oversee TPM and OEE, and control consumables spending
• Ensure safety policies are followed and promote safety culture
• Set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for staff
• Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams
• Drive continuous improvement using VITAL principles
