Job summary

The City of Redlands, CA is seeking an organized Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of City buildings. You will manage preventive and corrective work, supervise maintenance staff and outside contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled experience in building maintenance.
• Experience providing leadership or coordination of others is desirable.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for City buildings and facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate, assign, and monitor work of maintenance staff and outside contractors.
• Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and set repair priorities and schedules.
• Serve as primary point of contact for maintenance requests and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Review and track work orders using a CMMS or similar system.
