Job summary

Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator in San Bernardino, CA to manage maintenance, repairs, and compliance with building, fire, ADA, and health codes.

The role requires overseeing preventive maintenance, inspections, and procurement of supplies for program facilities. The successful candidate will hold a California State Contractor License, have HVAC knowledge, and possess basic tools and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school diploma.
• 5 years of experience.
• Must hold and maintain a California State Contractor License in building or electrical trades.
• Must possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
• General knowledge to include: construction, maintenance and repair, preventative building maintenance, purchasing supplies and equipment.
• Must own a supply of basic tools.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of program policies and procedures related to maintenance and facility operation.
• Adhere to key and lock control procedures.
• Assist with work planning, inspections, and monitoring for policy compliance and cost control.
• Oversee maintenance service and repairs to Program facilities and equipment.
• Formulate and implement preventative maintenance programs for utility systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Organize and manage ongoing maintenance, repairs, and purchases of supplies and house goods.
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure facilities are safe and compliant.
• Prepare Capital Improvement Plan and bid processes in line with CSI policies.
