Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to oversee inspection, maintenance and repair of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers and pool systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a safe, compliant facility for members and guests. The role requires 3–4 years in facilities maintenance or building engineering, plus a trade certification in HVAC/electrical/mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boiler, and pool systems
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of building systems
• Monitor and maintain water chemistry, filtration, and temperature controls for recreational pools
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations, including fire and life safety systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform emergency repairs as needed
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities within a CMMS
• Support overall facility appearance and functionality to enhance member and guest experience
