Qualifications

• Graduation from a technical/trade school.

Responsibilities

• Schedules repairs and maintenance of machines, tools, and equipment for reliable operations.
• Directs maintenance of utility systems (heat, steam, electric, gas, air) for operations.
• Develops preventive maintenance programs.
• Prepares the department budget and monitors expenditures.
• Recommends improvements to machines and equipment.
• Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies for operations.
• Reviews plans with design engineers for equipment needs.
• Directs grounds maintenance for attractive facilities.
• Participates in facility improvement programs.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
