Related Affordable Housing in Ohio seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, oversee make-ready tasks, and uphold cleanliness and safety across our communities in Trotwood. You will supervise technicians, manage repairs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure high standards.

The role requires 3+ years in general maintenance and 2+ years supervisory experience, with proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience with property management software (Real Page One Site) preferred.
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Dedic​​ated to exceeding expectations and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs.
• Oversee the "make-ready" process for vacant apartments, including inspections, task lists, scheduling contractors, obtaining supplies, and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Develop and maintain cleanliness and appearance standards throughout the community, including grounds and common areas.
• Inspect the building and property daily, addressing safety issues promptly.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and respond to emergency repairs after hours.
• Make budget recommendations for maintenance line items to the Community Manager.
• Order and maintain inventory of building materials and supplies.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to obtain bids for repairs and replacements.
• Ensure the general upkeep of building common areas and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
