Job summary

Villa Sport is seeking a Facilities Director to lead maintenance and renovation efforts across its resort-style clubs. You will manage building systems, perform hands-on repairs, and drive safety and cleanliness to deliver five-star service for members and guests.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive maintenance knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with technicians while aligning with Villa Sport values. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience as a Facilities Director or Chief Engineer at a business with similar standards to Villa Sport.
• Hands-on maintenance technician or skilled trade experience required.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Proven success in customer service and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent training and coaching skills.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Familiarity with mechanics of common exercise equipment.
• Computer literacy and financial management skills.
• Eye for and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as business demands.
• Two or more years of college and/or trade school preferred.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date.
• Current CPO certification or completion of certification within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all projects and actively perform repairs and scheduled maintenance alongside technicians.
• Manage club facilities maintenance, building systems, and renovation projects.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and five-star service across all facilities.
• Lead, motivate and develop staff guided by Villa Sport values and SOPs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a member of the Villa Sport leadership team, the Facilities Director helps bring to life a high performance culture that develops, empowers and recognizes great employees and delivers five-star service, exceptional programs, and an immaculately clean, safe club to members and guests. In decisions and actions, the Facilities Director is guided by Villa Sports Values and Behaviors. The Facilities Director fully executes on all Villa Sport Standard Operating Procedures and takes ownership the personnel and operation of all activities related to club facilities maintenance and repair, building systems, and construction/renovation projects. The Facilities Director is expected to not only oversee all projects but actively perform repairs and scheduled maintenance, alongside the team of technicians. Though guided by the Office of the General Manager, the Facilities Director is expected to be self-motivated, self-reliant, organized and able to handle concurrent projects and assignments.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:

• $99,300 annual base salary.
