Job summary

Villa Sport is seeking a reliable handyman/maintenance technician to complete repairs on gym facilities and pool areas. You will follow safety procedures and ensure quality standards while minimizing disruption to members.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of handyman experience, HS diploma or GED, and familiarity with tools and chemicals. A Trade school background and CPO certification are a plus; weekend or evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with exercise equipment and pools.
• Ability to read and follow checklists and safety instructions.
• Lift up to 100 pounds.
• 4+ years in handyman/repair roles.
• Diploma or GED; trade training preferred; CPO encouraged within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned repair and maintenance tasks on time.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards to minimize member disruption.
• Assist Facilities Director in maintaining facilities and equipment.
• Possibility of weekend/evening/holiday shifts as needed.

Your journey starts here!POSITION SUMMARY:Ensure that assigned repair and maintenance projects and responsibilities are completed on a timely basis, following all safety procedures and meeting all quality standards, while minimizing any impact on members and guests’ full enjoyment of the property. Assist the Facilities Director in meeting the property’s objective of well-maintained and fully operational facilities and equipment.
