Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Broughton Hospital, is seeking a Maintenance/Construction Supervisor II to oversee Carpentry and Paint departments in a hospital setting. The role involves planning, scheduling, and ensuring quality of repairs and maintenance across trades.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with four years of progressive facility maintenance/construction experience, and may hold EPA Type I–III or Universal certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of progressive experience in facility maintenance or construction, including three trades and supervisory experience.
• EPA Type I, II, III or Universal Technician certification may be required.
• Preference for candidates with a NC Driver's License and GC/GC-level licensing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee tasks across Carpentry and Paint departments in a hospital setting.
• Interpret building codes, blueprints, schematics, and specifications; coordinate with hospital administration and other trades.
• Assess work quality, ensure efficient repairs and maintenance, and manage staffing and priorities.
