Job summary

Broughton Hospital, part of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, seeks a full-time Maintenance/Construction Supervisor II to lead the Carpentry and Paint departments in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, interpreting plans, and coordinating with administration and other trades to ensure quality repairs and maintenance across facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; four years progressive experience in facility maintenance or construction, including at least three building or mechanical trades; one year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Carpentry and Paint Supervisors and oversee related trades in a hospital environment.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee tasks for carpentry, interior components (tile, drywall, plastering), and paint departments.
• Interpret building/ mechanical plans, blueprints, schematics and specifications for project work.
• Coordinate with hospital administration and other trades to ensure timely, quality repairs and maintenance.
