Job summary

Spencer Savings Bank is seeking an Assistant Facilities Coordinator to manage repair and maintenance of Headquarters and branches in Elmwood Park, NJ. The role involves coordinating with contractors and managing daily operations of multiple locations.

You will assist senior management, oversee repairs, ensure safety, and support budget tracking. A valid NJ driver’s license and strong organizational skills are required, with flexibility for after-hours work.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent related work experience.
• Organizational abilities and multi-tasking.
• Project management experience and skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience related to facilities projects, and daily operations involving multi-locations.
• Proven capability of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with all levels of the company.
• NJ Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy packages and trash bags.

Responsibilities

• Replace light bulbs and clean fixtures as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and in-house services for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in budgeting expenses for facilities and maintenance projects.
• Schedule and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance across locations.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of HQ and branches.
• Assist in daily facility maintenance and inspections.
