Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a dependable Regional Maintenance Assistant to support our skilled nursing centers across Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. This full-time hourly position involves hands-on maintenance, preventative tasks, and quick response to issues to keep facilities safe and functional.

The ideal candidate will be organized, capable of multitasking across locations, and able to travel regularly between centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintenance, handyman, facilities, construction, or building operations experience required.
• Healthcare or senior living experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required.
• Ability to travel between facilities regularly.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Computer proficiency preferred.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on facility equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building-related issues.
• Complete general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Travel between facilities throughout Monmouth, Essex, Union, Somerset, Middlesex, and Mercer Counties.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities across various locations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work independently while collaborating with facility leadership and team members.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Administrator.
