Job summary

La Senza is seeking a Manager, Facilities to lead our North American facilities function during a growth phase. This hands-on role blends strategy with daily operations, focused on safety, reliability, and cost control.

You will oversee maintenance, budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance, while building scalable processes and potentially guiding a small team to deliver results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management.
• Strong understanding of facilities maintenance and safety regulations.
• Certifications such as FMP or CFM are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a lean environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and improvement of all facilities; manage service contracts and vendors.
• Develop and manage facilities budget with forecasting and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; implement training and inspections.
• Develop long-term facilities plans; participate in space planning and renovations.
• Establish emergency response plans and after-hours coverage; coordinate drills.
• Promote energy-saving practices and sustainable operations.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with providers; monitor SLAs.
• Serve as main contact for facilities inquiries and communicate issues and solutions.
• Understand lease terms and maintenance responsibilities; manage invoices and payments.
• Develop and enforce facilities policies with vendors and sites; monitor KPIs.
• Lead complex projects like renovations, relocations, and openings; may supervise others.
