Job summary

Martin's is seeking a Facilities Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and construction across multiple sites, ensuring minimal disruption and improved efficiency. You will lead skilled and unskilled staff, manage budgets and capital expenditures, and negotiate contracts with architects, consultants, and contractors.

The role requires strong knowledge of building codes, safety practices, and Good Manufacturing Procedures to keep facilities compliant and productive.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or relevant experience.
• Four to ten years’ related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities to determine repairs or improvements.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and renovations of buildings.
• Manage electrical power and high voltage subs via contractors.
• Coordinate lawn care and snow removal.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions with architects and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Oversee construction of new buildings and renovations.
• Monitor budgets and capital expenditures.
