Job summary

MSC Cruises seeks a seasoned Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, safety, security, and operations for our new US HQ in Miami, with weekly travel to Fort Lauderdale. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage vendors, ensure compliance with health, safety, and LEED standards, and drive uptime of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and AV/IT.

Reporting to the VP of HR, this role demands strong leadership, budget stewardship, and a proactive approach to risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, or related field.
Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of a comprehensive facilities maintenance strategy.
Direct and hold accountable all facilities contractors, vendors, maintenance, housekeeping, and landscaping teams.
Own performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, AV/IT, lighting, life safety).
Oversee landscaping, greenery, irrigation, and common areas to ensure an outstanding workplace experience.
Lead and develop the Facilities team, including Reception and workplace services, partnering with HR on employee experience initiatives.
Plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance activities, repairs, and capital projects with minimal disruption.
