Royal Caribbean Group seeks a Director of Facilities Management in Miami, reporting to the Sr Director, Workplace Solutions. This role leads global real estate strategies, capital projects, and space planning across the portfolio, while guiding a small team and engaging external partners.

The ideal candidate has extensive corporate real estate and leadership experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to drive governance and scalable processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, or related fields, incl. multi-site/global portfolios.
• Director-level leadership experience with budgets, governance, and cross-functional decision-making in a matrixed environment.
• Proven track record leading capital projects, office buildouts, relocations, and occupancy planning from strategy to execution.
• Strong knowledge of real estate principles, lease provisions, transactions, and vendor management.
• Experience building business cases, portfolio recommendations, and executive-ready materials.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI considerations.
• Understanding of design/construction processes, permitting, and risk management.
• Executive communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Ability to balance strategic agility with operational discipline across competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for corporate real estate projects and space utilization across global portfolio.
• Lead high-visibility capital projects, occupancy initiatives, restacks, relocations, and workplace transformations.
• Develop business cases, scenario plans, and governance materials for leadership decisions.
• Oversee global space planning, capacity forecasting, and occupancy analytics.
• Lead and develop a team of space planning professionals and coordinate with external partners.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior leaders on real estate strategy, costs, and risk.
• Manage external consultants, brokers, landlords, and contractors for project delivery.
• Establish governance, reporting cadence, budgets, and escalation protocols.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Facilities on transactions and obligations.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, financial, and execution risks.
• Own budget planning, capital forecasting, and cash flow visibility for portfolio initiatives.
• Direct project teams to ensure scope clarity, schedule discipline, and quality delivery.
• Monitor performance against contracts and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
