Cushman & Wakefield in Philadelphia seeks a UNION Lead Engineer responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities. The role may be solo depending on building size and may supervise maintenance staff.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate with contractors, and respond to emergencies while maintaining safety and compliance. Flexibility for overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• Appropriate trade license/permit may be required (Journeyman or Master Electrician, etc).
• EPA Universal certification for refrigerants (CFC/HFC) is required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record is preferred.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and assign activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance: replace lamps, bearings, belts; inspect and adjust components.
• Coordinate maintenance with outside contractors and technicians.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safe work practices.
• Respond to emergencies and priority issues promptly.
