Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a qualified Facilities Lead to ensure safety and functionality of our properties in a fast-paced, collegiate environment. You will lead a onsite team, coordinate preventative maintenance, and supervise third-party vendors to uphold Scion standards.

The role requires experience with building systems, OSHA codes, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high reliability and safety across the property portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 5 years of experience managing building systems in multi‑unit residential properties.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• EPA 608 Universal certification required.
• HVAC/EPA 608 Universal certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Experience with plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all building services and preventative maintenance per Scion procedures and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and general maintenance.
• Monitor systems, diagnostics, maintenance, testing, permitting and certification for major building systems.
• Manage life safety systems and emergency readiness.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Supervise Facilities Technicians and ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Review completed work for conformance to standards and repair quality.
• Ensure timely emergency/ routine maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with General Manager on vendor bids and contracted work.
• Oversee key management, inventory of parts/tools and shop upkeep.
