Job summary

The Scion Group seeks a Facilities Manager to protect safety, reliability and functionality of our residential properties. You will lead onsite teams and coordinate with vendors to maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety systems in a fast-paced, collegiate environment.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, inspect facilities, manage turn-overs and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. This role requires leadership, problem-solving and reliable follow-through.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience managing building systems in multi-unit properties.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• HVAC/EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines and manuals.
• Basic computer skills including CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs in line with SOPs and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and general maintenance.
• Monitor systems, provide diagnostics, preventative maintenance and testing; manage major systems.
• Operate life safety systems including fire pumps and alarms.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work to Scion standards.
• Supervise Facilities Technicians and ensure timely completion of requests.
• Review completed work for conformance to standards and repair quality.
• Maintain records for major systems, warranties and equipment.
