Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to ensure safety and functionality of multi-unit residential properties. You will lead the onsite facilities team and coordinate with vendors to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include managing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety systems, maintaining preventive maintenance programs, and supervising technicians to meet Scion standards. Travel to other properties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; trade school or military training preferred.
• 8 years of experience managing building systems in multi-unit residential properties, with at least 5 years in supervisory roles.
• 5 years’ experience with building automation systems and life-safety systems.
• EPA 608 Universal certification.
• Boiler operator or Stationary Engineer license/certification.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within 6 months.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings/blueprints and safety guidelines.
• Strong project management and prioritization for multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs in line with Scion SOPs and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and general building maintenance.
• Monitor systems, provide diagnostics, perform annual testing and certification for major systems.
• Operate life safety systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work; manage Facilities Technicians to complete requests.
• Review work orders for labor, materials, and calibration; ensure quality and timeliness.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety, health, and code issues; prepare reports and recommendations.
• Oversee turnover, unit repairs, and inventory of parts/tools; coordinate with vendors.
