Job summary

Compass Group USA, via ESFM, is seeking a Facilities Manager to assist with overall facility operations and deliver high-quality services to clients. You will oversee the facility team, vendor relationships, office services, and safety programs while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills, with prior management experience in facilities or related services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years management experience within facilities services or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with outside vendors, AP/AR, and budget management preferred.
• Proficiency with Internet and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring process and professional development for the Facility team.
• Organize daily activities, events, project/move management, policies and procedures; manage vendor contracts and onboarding.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and monitor performance/quality; research new vendors.
• Ensure facility safety and security; administer emergency plans; act as after-hours contact for property management; train on emergency procedures.
• Manage financial reporting, attendance, payroll, inventory, service reports and achievements.
