Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support the Business Services Manager and deliver excellent client service in the Detroit area.

You will oversee subcontractor management for cleaning, maintenance, pest control, waste and security, coordinate moves and changes, and leverage your experience in facilities management or hospitality leadership to drive smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior Facilities Management experience within Business & Industry.
• Experience in hospitality management roles (e.g., Housekeeping Manager, Front Office Manager, Convention Coordinator).
• Experience with Soft Services including Janitorial.
• GMP experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong Client relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractor management for cleaning, maintenance, pest control, waste, security, landscaping, and mailroom operations.
• Coordinate moves, adds, and changes as needed.
