Compass Group USA’s ESFM division is seeking a Facilities Janitorial Manager to oversee custodial and related services within a major client site. You will supervise staff, allocate workloads, ensure contract compliance, train custodians, and conduct inspections while coordinating with client management to address concerns and maintain service quality.

The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work primarily on weekdays with potential evenings and weekends, and bilingual

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and planning skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Minimum of five to ten years of recent experience supervising custodial and related employees in major facilities.

Responsibilities

• Allocate work responsibilities among subordinates; supervise and coordinate areas (common areas, service hallways, food court).
• Create schedules to maintain properly skilled staffing levels to meet contract requirements.
• Approve vacation time, overtime and timecards; train custodians on work-related equipment.
• Supervise, motivate, discipline, and evaluate staff.
• Counsel and coordinate with customer management on service matters; resolve client concerns and perform inspections.
