Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Facilities II team member in Minnesota to support daily DC operations. You will perform general maintenance, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks to keep the facility safe, clean, and efficient.

The role involves moving furniture, maintaining logs, and coordinating with external services. Strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and ability to follow safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance or carpentry, minor repairs, and routine painting.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on building mechanical equipment; inspect, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, etc.
• Relocate, move, and adjust furniture as needed.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve problems related to facility operations.
• Maintain all required HAZMAT records and interact with outsourced building services.
• May operate powered lift equipment; maintain repair and maintenance log.
