Job summary

SanMar seeks a Facilities II, DC maintenance technician to support daily DC operations in a safe, clean, and efficient environment. You will perform general maintenance around the DC and assist with preventive maintenance tasks to ensure operational reliability.

The role requires 1-3 years of facility maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Overtime and possible weekend shifts may be required; teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years facility maintenance experience and use of hand/power tools.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to prioritize daily responsibilities and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, carpentry, minor repairs and painting.
• Assist preventive maintenance on building equipment; inspect belts, replace filters, grease bearings.
• Relocate and adjust furniture as needed; maintain repair logs.
• Respond to facility issues professionally and timely; document and resolve problems.
• Comply with laws and HazMat records; interact with outsourced services.
• May operate powered lift equipment; overtime possible including weekends.
