Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an on-site Facilities I&C Engineer in Phoenix to design, install, and maintain mission-critical systems that monitor temperature, pressure, flow and level. You will work with sensors, controllers, networks and FMCS to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The role emphasizes PLC/SCADA/DDC design and troubleshooting, calibration, and collaboration with engineers and technicians to support facility operations including HVAC, water treatment and gas distribution systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
Experience designing, commissioning and troubleshooting facility instrumentation and control systems is preferred.
Experience with PLC, SCADA and DDC systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge of FMCS, BMS, and CMMS programs; ISA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Design and implement I&C systems for facility operations, including PLC and SCADA configurations.
Install, commission and calibrate instrumentation and control equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot I&C systems to ensure reliable plant operations.
Support HVAC, water treatment, and gas/chemical distribution systems.
Ensure safety systems monitoring and control of potentially hazardous conditions.
Participate in ERT duties if required.
