Job summary
TSMC Arizona seeks a Facilities Gas and Chemical Engineer to sustain, troubleshoot, and lead projects for 24/7 facility operations at our Phoenix campus. You will collaborate with manufacturing, facility teams, suppliers and vendors to ensure reliability and cost objectives.
The role requires a BS/MS in Chemical Engineering and 2+ years in semiconductor gas/chemical systems, with ability to work shifts including nights.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
- 2+ years experience in semiconductor facilities gas, chemical or slurry distribution systems.
- Experience in designing or maintaining distribution piping and related equipment.
- Strong communication, presentation and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Sustain, troubleshoot, and manage gas/chemical/slurry distribution systems.
- Oversee operations, maintenance, and system capacity planning.
- Lead safety, reliability, quality, and environmental objectives.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, suppliers and vendors to resolve issues.
- Develop plans to maximize operational and maintenance efficiency.
- Create documentation and scope of work for projects and commissioning.
