Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Facilities Gas and Chemical Engineer to sustain, troubleshoot, and lead projects for critical distribution systems supporting a 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. The role collaborates with operations, maintenance, and suppliers to ensure reliability, safety, and cost effectiveness.

You will work on designing and improving chemical and gas distribution, managing project scopes, and providing documentation and leadership for site processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Chemical engineering principles including piping, filtration, pumps, valves and chemical analytical testing.
• 2 years’ experience in semiconductor Facilities Chemical, Gas or Slurry distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sustaining engineering support equipment for gas, chemical, and slurry distribution systems and oversee operations & maintenance.
• Own capacity vs. demand and lead system troubleshooting for reliability and quality concerns.
• Provide facilities system engineering leadership to safety, reliability, quality, environmental and cost objectives.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance to maximize efficiency of plans.
• Perform systems assessments and implement improvements via capital and expense projects.
