TSMC - Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot PLC/SCADA systems in a high‑tech semiconductor facility. You will calibrate field instrumentation, manage control panels, and work with system engineers to tune loops for optimal performance.

The role requires 5+ years of I&C experience in an industrial setting, preferably with semiconductor exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years I&C experience in an industrial environment; semiconductor experience preferred.
• ISA Control System Technician Certification is desirable but not required.
• Experience with calibration of instrumentation and control loops.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC/SCADA and DDC automation systems.
• Proficiency with electrical diagrams, P&ID diagrams, and instrumentation loops.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA systems.
• Calibrate field instrumentation and maintain calibration logs.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports and trends.
• Monitor network traffic and identify issues.
• Support System Engineer to tune control loops to spec.
• Maintain backup databases for logic and CMMS PM scheduling.
