Job summary
TSMC is seeking an experienced Facilities Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to join the Phoenix, AZ team. You will operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot PLC/SCADA systems to ensure safe, reliable, continuous facility operations.
The role includes calibration of instrumentation, tuning of control loops, and collaboration with System Engineers and technicians to meet process specs. On-site work with a strong safety focus and potential ERT duties are included.
Qualifications
- Must have high school diploma and hands-on troubleshooting in automation environments.
- Preferred: associate degree or accredited I&C apprenticeship/technical training.
- Semiconductor or industrial facility experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain calibration of instrumentation and measurement systems per CMMS PM schedule.
- Track, trend, and report instrument performance weekly/monthly.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot communication issues.
- Tune control loops with System Engineer to meet specs.
- Provide maintenance and operations support for PLC/SCADA and DDC systems; maintain backup databases.
