Job summary

Sun Communities in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for routine and preventative maintenance across community homes and facilities, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal.

You will perform repairs, lawn care, snow removal where applicable, operate basic tools, test water systems, and coordinate with the manager and contractors. A high school diploma and a valid driver''s license are required, with a preference for prior maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred.
• 6 months general maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Valid driver''s license required.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency (email/internet).
• On-call schedule availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in homes and facilities.
• Inspect irrigation, water systems, and meters; perform minor repairs.
• Maintain grounds and landscaping; mulch, trim, and weed control.
• Respond to hazards in community streets and common areas.
• Assist with snow removal and de-icing where applicable.
• Ensure curb appeal and cleanliness of community facilities.
• Coordinate with manager and contractors on projects.
