Job summary

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is seeking an experienced facilities maintenance supervisor to lead and coordinate maintenance for Tribal facilities and grounds. The role focuses on safety, quality, and timely delivery of repairs, preventive maintenance, and event support, with supervision of maintenance staff and contractors.

You will develop schedules, monitor expenditures, ensure compliance with safety rules, train staff, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five (5) years of facilities maintenance experience, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs and installations.
• Two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Valid Washington State Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee routine and preventive maintenance of Tribal facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, interior/exterior cleaning, grounds, and waste collection, following schedules and safety requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee general building repairs and ensure work is completed safely.
• Perform routine facility maintenance and service activities within scope of training and qualifications.
• Supervise staff; develop schedules; assign, monitor, inspect work; provide training and performance evaluations.
• Identify maintenance needs and determine methods, including when to use outside contractors.
• Coordinate with personnel to confirm budget availability for projects and bids.
• Direct, inspect, and approve work by outside contractors to meet specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with departments to support Tribal events and activities.
• Order and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment within budget.
• Ensure equipment is inspected, serviced, and used per safety procedures.
• Monitor department expenditures and resources within budget.
• Provide safety training and promote safe practices; ensure required training and PPE usage.
• Maintain records, work orders, inspections, schedules, and related documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
