Job summary

The City of Riverside is seeking a grounds and facilities maintenance worker to care for City properties, equipment, and infrastructure. The role includes lawn care, snow removal, litter control, pool maintenance, and supporting special events.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months. The job requires heavy physical work and basic repairs across multiple trades.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair city-owned facilities, properties and equipment.
• Mow lawns, remove snow, control litter, and assist with event setup/cleanup.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and vehicle servicing as qualified.
