Job summary

South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department is seeking a maintenance supervisor to manage janitorial and facilities tasks across the agency. You will oversee grounds, equipment upkeep, and supply inventories while performing minor repairs and improvements to buildings and systems.

The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma, and a clean driving record. Applicants with skilled trades experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or HVAC are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and four years of equipment, building, and grounds maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Skilled trades experience (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and maintenance tasks per agency guidelines.
• Maintain grounds and inventory of cleaning/maintenance supplies.
• Perform minor repairs and upgrades on facilities equipment.
• Review maintenance schedules and service agency vehicles.
• Train and oversee consumers with vocational objectives in janitorial/maintenance.
