New York State Center for Recruitment & Public Service seeks Maintenance Helpers to perform custodial and facilities maintenance tasks under supervision, with duties spanning groundskeeping, cleaning, painting, and basic equipment operation.

Candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs, hold a valid NY driver’s license, read and write English, and work with minimal supervision; overtime and travel may be required. This position is essential personnel with a starting pay of $17.35 per hour.

Formación

• Must be physically able to perform moderate to heavy labor and lift 50+ lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of New York.
• Must be able to read and write in English and work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general grounds maintenance such as mowing, trimming, snow removal, and trash collection.
• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain automotive equipment and machinery.
• Assist with maintenance requirements for the Nonmilitary Use Program.
• Occasionally operate motor vehicles and power-driven equipment.
• Work overtime or travel to other facilities as needed.
