Job summary

Pahara Institute at Lone Rock is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep, safety, and operations of a 2,400-acre retreat including cabins, wellness facilities, and communal spaces. You will lead a team to maintain buildings, systems, and safety standards while coordinating with staff and vendors.

The role requires hands-on maintenance skills, leadership experience, and a flexible schedule to support operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair practices.
• Experience maintaining wellness facilities such as hot tubs or pools is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the upkeep of the entire Lone Rock facility and all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in alignment with energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager in safety, energy, and preventive maintenance program optimization.
• Conduct regular campus-wide inspections to ensure preventive maintenance standards are met.
• Manage maintenance and sanitation of all maintenance areas to ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide room touch-ups, testing, and repair of guest room appliances and fixtures.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance in a timely manner to meet service quality standards.
• Respond to guest and departmental questions, complaints, or problems professionally and promptly.
• Oversee property vehicles maintenance and basic troubleshooting; manage on-site vendors.
