Job summary

The Retreat facility in Hartford, CT is seeking a Facilities Coordinator II to oversee building and grounds aesthetics, safety, and security. You will supervise housekeeping staff and porters while coordinating with Community Protection Coordinators to ensure compliant 24/7 coverage.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inspections, guiding cleaning practices, and developing staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety across the site.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required or equivalent.
• Up to six months experience in housekeeping with team leadership.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
• Effective communication, including writing.
• Spanish language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff scheduling and supervision of cleaning tasks.
• Inspect building appearance and grounds regularly.
• Adjust daily schedules to meet building needs.
• Train and supervise Housekeepers, porter and community protection coordinators.
• Ensure 24-hour staff coverage per state regulations.
• Report equipment repairs and maintain clean, safe facilities.
