Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a General Laborer to perform grounds maintenance, custodial tasks, and light repairs across our facilities and yards. You will operate hand tools and equipment, help with waste carts, and support route staff as needed.

This role requires good English communication, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, including evenings and weekends as needed. Health, dental, and other benefits accompany competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and perform custodial duties.
• Operate various hand-held tools and equipment.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment per policy and OSHA.
• Assist with waste carts, bins, and route support.
• Perform minor repairs and general upkeep of facilities.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
