Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling seeks a Maintenance Laborer to support maintenance facilities and perform custodial duties across offices and shops. The role covers grounds maintenance, cleaning, and assisting in various lines of business as needed.

You will operate hand-held tools, ensure safe equipment operation, and interact with customers professionally. The job requires physical outdoor work and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and equipment is preferred.
• CDL driving experience is preferred.
• Must be able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and shop cleaning and general housekeeping.
• Operate hand-held tools and equipment safely.
• Perform minor repairs and pressure-wash shop tools and containers.
• Transport, load, and unload shop supplies, parts, and tools.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Assist with various lines of business as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
