Job summary

Chipotle is seeking a Facilities Field Technician to maintain restaurant operations through preventative maintenance on a wide range of systems across markets. You will support the Facilities Manager, conduct site visits, and ensure safe, efficient operation of cooking equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration.

The role requires hands-on trades expertise, strong scheduling ability, and reliable travel between restaurants.

Qualifications

• Strong trade knowledge across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, commercial cooking equipment, and basic HVAC/refrigeration.
• Knowledge of facilities safety requirements and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and coordinate work to meet timelines.
• Effective communication and training skills for facility maintenance concepts.
• Clean driving record for travel between restaurants.
• Two years of formal or informal training on repair/maintenance of facilities; restaurant equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Manager by supervising facility aspects at market level.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs through monthly site visits and analysis.
• Create preventative maintenance schedules for critical restaurant systems.
• Respond to facility issues to minimize health and safety risks.
• Train staff on maintenance and repair procedures and documentation.
• Provide detailed maintenance visit recaps to Operations teams.
