Job summary

Olympia Entertainment is seeking a seasoned Facilities Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple venues in District Detroit. You will supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and event services, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high service standards for guests and clients.

The role requires directing staff, managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, and supporting event setups and post-event activities. A strong focus on OSHA safety and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum of three years of lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lift, bobcat).

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the Fox Theatre, Hockeytown Café and adjacent properties.
• Identify repairs & maintenance and coordinate outsourced services.
• Support budget development and coordination for facilities and housekeeping.
• Schedule payroll and complete new hire/rehire paperwork with payroll.
• Prepare housekeeping inventories and coordinate post-event meetings.
