Job summary

Olympia Entertainment in Detroit is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to assist in managing day-to-day facilities services across the Fox Theatre, Hockeytown Café, and related venues. The role emphasizes coordination of cleaning, maintenance, set‑ups, and event services to ensure flawless guest experiences.

You will work with the General Manager and Director of Operations to supervise staff, schedule payroll, monitor budgets, and enforce safety standards, including OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years leading operations in a facility setting.
• Experience with general labor, maintenance, and event support.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for Fox Theatre, Hockeytown Café, and adjacent properties.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and outsourced services; manage budgets.
• Schedule staff payroll and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Lead event support and guest service during performances.
• Inspect facilities for safety and quality; report discrepancies.
