Job summary

Flex-N-Gate, a leading automotive components manufacturer, is seeking a Supervisor to coordinate installation, maintenance, and repairs of all machinery and equipment at the Indiana facility.

You will manage hourly maintenance staff, ensure production rates, schedules, quality, and safety requirements are met, and assist the Manager in achieving operational goals.

Candidates should bring a community college background and at least five years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Community college credential related to maintenance or trades.
• Five years in a mechanical/electrical capacity as a tradesman or related experience.
• Five years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates installation, maintenance, and repairs of all machinery and equipment.
• Manages hourly maintenance personnel in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
• Ensures production rates, schedules, quality, quantity and safety requirements are met.
• Reads and interprets manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Prepares manpower schedules and grants vacations.
• Attends daily production meetings and provides input as needed.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance and monitors contractor activities.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and materials.
• Ensures safety regulations are followed and housekeeping is maintained.
