Job summary

Flex-N-Gate Detroit is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate installation, maintenance and repairs of machinery and building systems. You will lead hourly maintenance personnel, ensure safety and efficiency, and align work with company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will manage schedules, oversee contractors, monitor inventory, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices. On-call availability 24/7 and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Community College in a related field required.
• Five years in a mechanical/electrical capacity as a tradesman or related experience.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions; multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and prioritizes work requests; ensures material availability.
• Follows up on work orders to meet specs and timelines.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts, equipment and materials.
• Prepares manpower schedules and vacations.
• Inspects facility areas for safety and housekeeping.
• Attends daily production meetings and provides input.
